The return of Saul

In many respects we are living in times, very similar to those of the time of the Judges.

1.We have weak leadership (on the western scene, at least). There is nobody among the religious and secular rulers, who can stand against the corrupting influences in society and the enemies of western civilization.

In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.Judges 17:6

1b. Which allows some space for women leaders (Mogherini, Merkel, Le Pen, Lagarde etc.)

And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.~4:5

2. Sodomy is rampant

Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.~19:22

 3. Abuse against women (ISIS sex trade)

And the children of Benjamin did so, and took them wives, according to their number, of them that danced, whom they caught: and they went and returned unto their inheritance, and repaired the cities, and dwelt in them.~21:23

4. An insurmountable enemy that is on the way of conquering the world - radical islam (not really, but propaganda makes it seem so).

And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.~13:1

All of this, magnified through the projector of propagandam leads to a general feeling of anxiety and uncertainty.
