Behind the stage of the US political dramas and the recent episode of the horror and shock murder of the conservative talking head Charlie Kirk (AKA "(C)atholic Church") again stand the withered hands of the neo-Egyptian alchemists. Let's start with the fact that Charlie was deeply involved with mormons and had his final lecture/debate at the university of Utah, the mormon state. Studies of rock and dust from asteroid Bennu delivered to Earth by NASA’s OSIRIS-REx (Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification and Security–Regolith Explorer) spacecraft have revealed molecules that, on our planet, are key to life, as well as a history of saltwater that could have served as the “broth” for these compounds to interact and combine.

The findings do not show evidence for life itself, but they do suggest the conditions necessary for the emergence of life were widespread across the early solar system, increasing the odds life could have formed on other planets and moons.

“NASA’s OSIRIS-REx mission already is rewriting the textbook on what we understand about the beginnings of our solar system,” said Nicky Fox, associate administrator, Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington. “Asteroids provide a time capsule into our home planet’s history, and Bennu’s samples are pivotal in our understanding of what ingredients in our solar system existed before life started on Earth.”

In research papers published Wednesday in the journals Nature and Nature Astronomy, scientists from NASA and other institutions shared results of the first in-depth analyses of the minerals and molecules in the Bennu samples, which OSIRIS-REx delivered to Earth in 2023.

Detailed in the Nature Astronomy paper, among the most compelling detections were amino acids – 14 of the 20 that life on Earth uses to make proteins – and all five nucleobases that life on Earth uses to store and transmit genetic instructions in more complex terrestrial biomolecules, such as DNA and RNA, including how to arrange amino acids into proteins.

Scientists also described exceptionally high abundances of ammonia in the Bennu samples. Ammonia is important to biology because it can react with formaldehyde, which also was detected in the samples, to form complex molecules, such as amino acids – given the right conditions. When amino acids link up into long chains, they make proteins, which go on to power nearly every biological function.

These building blocks for life detected in the Bennu samples have been found before in extraterrestrial rocks. However, identifying them in a pristine sample collected in space supports the idea that objects that formed far from the Sun could have been an important source of the raw precursor ingredients for life throughout the solar system.

Associate Professor of Physics Cyril P. Opeil, S.J., is among a select few scientists taking part in an international research effort to shed light on the nature of asteroids, how the planets formed, and how life might have emerged on Earth.

Fr. Opeil is one of the rare researchers with experience studying the low-temperature thermo-physical properties of meteorites and asteroid formation. As part of NASA’s historic OSIRIS-REx mission, he has been tasked with conducting experiments on specific heat capacity and determining how a material from the asteroid 101955 Bennu expands and contracts at low temperatures.

"For me, it’s a wonderful moment,” said Fr. Opeil. “I think it is a tremendous time for a Boston College physicist, a Jesuit, to be asked to participate in this space mission.....

Launched on September 8, 2016, the OSIRIS-REx (Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, and Security-Regolith Explorer) spacecraft traveled more than one billion miles to Bennu, classified as a near-Earth asteroid, and collected about 120 grams of rock and dust from its surface on October 20, 2020. The spacecraft spent more than two years on its return journey before it jettisoned a trapezoid–shaped capsule containing the samples that landed in the Utah desert on September 24, 2023.  From there the spacecraft continued on to its second mission, called OSIRIS-APEX, during which it will visit and scan the asteroid 99942 Apophis in 2029.

Camera traps, thermal cameras, drones and dozens of specialists in the field are trying for a second day to capture the mysterious black panther, which has been stirring up passions in the region of the Shumen Plateau Nature Park since yesterday. From this moment until tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m., a complete ban on access to the park territory is being introduced. New traces of the wild animal have been found, but the authorities have still not managed to locate it. The origin of the predator, spotted near the city, also remains unclear. How are the local people reacting to the threat?

Since I have been called to a discussion in a somewhat less cynical tone, I reply quick-handedly to the post. :

 If that governor would say that he saved the WHOLE community (or the "world") of dead walking men in the state prison, because he saved only ONE (or just only few of them), that governor should be at least impeached because affected by a serious mental disturbance and unable to carry on his duty as representative of the  people's will.

 Much worse would it be for the governor to boast that he has saved all, to the last person, in a literal sense and then left 99% of their comatose or on the other hand resisting bodies on the ground at the last step of the building, saying they made their decision to stay and die. Considering he has men strong enough to carry their bodies or even pick them up if they are unwilling and resisting. That is the pinnacle of cynicism and hypocrisy. But, as a man's god is, so is he. Hence the hypocrisy of Billy Graham, Hal Lindsey etc free will preachers who led very different lives to what they presented. Trust me, I know it from someone in the kitchen.


The god of the arminians is a hypocrite, being all powerful and claiming to have saved and to wish to save everyone, while not doing it. Wile the God of the calvinists is accused of.... unfairness for sending people to hell for their sins (and not giving them "a chance"). Well, their attitude towards the gospel shows that even if there was such a thing as universal salvation, they would reject it. But election is the most uncomfortable truth for the flesh. Perhaps this discomfort it gives free willers causes them to be so cynical and scornful.

Running away from the ethnic context is futile. God's election from an unimaginably increased scope - the multitude of nations outside of Israel -  was already a miracle and a huge scandal, even before talking about numbers. Remember that the Jews were scandalized by the fact that God visited the Gentiles and that only Naaman and the widow of Sarepta were helped at the time of Elijah. We are talking about a handful of people here.

Almost sounds like pope Francis' atheists going to heaven. In reality, there is never a hint in Scripture of God owing humanity or any sinner a chance of salvation. That is taking the side of sinful flesh and saying hell by itself is unfair. It is also patently false that anyone can be saved apart from faith in Christ or the promises related to him. Those without Christ will never see life. Peter makes it clear the OT saints were saved by the grace of God and that there is no other way to heaven under heaven outside of the name (salvation) of Jesus Christ. And since God kept his word in motion only in Israel for over 1400 years, it is foolish to argue that there was no elective purpose. God definitely isn't a regional deity, but his purposes were and are very particular. Romans 2 is about regenerated persons. Unregenerated flesh means sin and breaking of the law. Or we must admit a better nature in some sinners contra Romans 1-3 and Ephesians 1-2.

This is for all the people who never heard the Gospel. Do you think God is so stupid just in order to fit the Calvinist nut-dreams ?

"EXCLUDED": And then, why not ?  Isn't God a predestinationist ? [by hypothesis] .... If He has decided the majority of the world population is lost without hope, why to send to them the Gospel ? 

The author asks why would God send the gospel to those who are already saved. Well, isn't it fair to ask why would he send the gospel to these law abiding gentiles, if they are already being saved by their law keeping? (if we assume like dispensationalists they are unregenerate yet saving themselves in the first place). Isn't it much worse, considering how many actually reject it?

But the gospel is exactly the revelation of eternal life/salvation etc to the elect. It doesn't care about reprobates. The ones who excused themselves from the supper, were left without hope. The others were compelled and without the compulsion of God's drawing love, nobody would come to know. Know what? Our life, hidden in Christ before the foundation of the world. To see our names, written in heaven. To the non elect the gospel is a stench of death, a closed door, a perpetural rejection, a final doom. Same way temptation is the unveiling of already present realities. I realize this takes out the excitement of unexpected twists and turns, but we have the WWE wrestling or Soap Operas for that. In the mind of God all is already done.  Jesus was a stumblingblock for Israel, to reveal what was already in their hearts and pronounce the corresponding juidgment which included a hardening that made them totally intolerant of him and his doctrine.

The knowledge of salvation is knowing your personal salvation which must be already there. Anything else is airy universalism and of no use. One can trump a universal salvation all day, without a man seeing his own share/interest, he will never get saved. But the free willer methods seek to convince people they are saved when they were never born again or been elrected. By giving them something to do on their part. But, you see how God removes any human agency and influence by placing salvation in eternity past:

Now, why rather not say: "Given the world before the world began"? It would be a beautiful, emphatic sentence. Because here the world is used in the absolute sense and it would be a contradiction and absurdity to affirm that salvation has been given to the entire world. It was only given to us, the elect. Like in 2 Peter 3:9. Like in John 17.

Unfortunately, after the pattern of all IFBS and especially Ruckmanites, Edoardo thinks bombastically paradoxical, emotionally loaded statements are truths. But they are fitting for orators and politicians.We should stick to Scripture.

 Free willists can't provide a good reason as to why ALL MEN or simply ALL shouldn't be taken in an absolute sense ("without exception") in any of the following verses. The weight of the proof is on them, as they claim that these words must be used the same way throughout Scripture. Evidently, they are not. They are used differently in different contexts and, in fact, the absolute meaning is VERY rarely used. There are a whole lot of these non absolute verses. I have only presented two.

The darkened, reprobate mind of the free willer cannot comprehend that the Lord Jesus teaches the jews two particular lessons here. First, the gentiles are included in the conenant, to the surprise of Nicodemus. Jesus told him this because Nicodemus had to realize that the whole formal Jewish religion was in error - God's salvation and judgment were not ethnic or biased - never were. God's salvation was multi-ethnic AND supernatural, so not according to the human tribalistic understanding of the fleshly israelites. God would individually call in his sheep and not usher the end times until all have been gathered. He would start by taking out some jews out of their generation, as Peter preached in Jerusalem. And he would finish with taking some out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (Rev 5:9).

As the song goes, "we are the world, we are the children". Yet.... we have no choice to make. 

The error of the jews was to believe that God had chosen only them, that he had to choose only them.... but he maintains his right to choose and beget as we learn in John 1:13 and John 3:8. To the dismay of the demonically inspired free willer mind, these verses only teach one thing - absolute Divine Sovereignty. God had not sent his Christ to judge the heathen but to save many of his ELECT sheep among them, according to his plan. The "no exceptions" of John 3:16 has nothing to do with individuals and a lot to do with "yes to inclusion of other nations" and the immediate issues obscuring that - the Roman+barbarian influence and oppression over Israel which had made the Jews full of self-righteousness, and their demanding attitude towards God who maintains his right to choose and had a totally different plan for a "chosen nation". Jesus warned the jews that rebellion will ALSO lead to the loss of the external kingdom and ministry.... and that is what happened. Because his warnings were much more of a prophecy than mere warnings. The Scriptures had to be fulfilled in order for the forewritten in the book of the lamb to be gathered.


1 John was written primarily to jews. This again gives an ethnic context. The key here is consolation. 1 John 2:2 was written to encourage and console jewish sinners that God has redeemed even the worst of the gentiles -  disgusting human beings who engaged in vile carnal acts and base idolatry. What consolation and encouragement could 1 John 2:2 give if it simply means a potential salvation of the entire world - none. Jesus dying for every Indian, Eskimo and Japanese would have absolutely no relevance to the ancient jew. However, Jesus dying for a type of gentile they intimately knew and thought was beyond salvation - the vile Greek, Phoenician, Roman, Sarmatian etc.... would make a lot of sense. The Roman world was regularly juxtaposed with the righteous jew. Hence, gentiles were considered characterized by open sin (as in Galatians 2:15). There lies the consolation and purpose of the verse.

But the self-righteous madness of the free willer is such that he doesn't recognize the plan and purposes of God. For him, the words of the Bible mean nothing and God is a purposeless and careless madman, leaving to devilish mankind to perform his highest desire - knowing full well that is something they would never do. . . The free willer does all this in the name of the idol called "self" and his superior choice in "getting saved." That's why so many of his interpretations of the most important books of the Bible are profane and superficial. He sees no glory in the works of God. But the election, salvation and praise belong to God. Our salvation was accomplished at the cross. Faith in the gospel only uncovers it.

 There is a very good reason the jesuits have been fighting TOTAL DEPRAVITY which necessitates ELECTION. Because anything else than humanity being "a bad tree" and God "a good tree" will surely lead in the opposite direction. If we admit the possibility of goodness in man, this automatically means there is a possibility of unrighteousness in God. And from there it is a VERY short way to denying the cross and the judgment of God. Do you really believe God has sent his Son for beings who can alter their nature? Or that God "offers" his Son like a travelling merchant? Rather the gospel is a proclamation of the salvation of the elect. That's it! The elect embrace it and rejoice. The rest get worse or devise a conversion in which they have "made the right choice". God does not owe sinful humanity anything. Much less a chance at salvation. One must either side with sinful humanity and devise ways to justify it without the cross or make it "saveable" like the arminians (but most prefer the former).... or take the hard route/the narrow road of particular redemption and regeneration preceding or concurrent with faith. Which one is it going to be? Sinful flesh - or the Son of God?
