Skulls and bones imprisoned in underground crypts - association with Bible's verses:
" And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? LET MY PEOPLE GO, that they may serve ME." - Exodus 10:3
"And Moses TOOK THE BONES of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall CARRY UP MY BONES AWAY HENCE WITH YOU" - Ex:13:19

They burn and destroy most of the bones of the heretics they've killed, but they also probably keep some of them along with their own. God knows[literally] what they do with that stuff. Probably some morbid rituals, curses etc. Wouldn't be suprised to find a bunch of the apostles and the early christians ressurected in the middle of the Vatican at the return of the Lord. . . . . . .
