I finished this post several weeks ago - i'm just posting it now with minor corrections. I want  to take rest regardless


The mountain of Sinai is the law giving place, the gap between men and God, whereas the mountain of Zion (referenced in that verse) is the place of the fulfilled law and of the freedom from all enemies, in the case of Christ even of death and sin, where the king rules with his friends (where David settled and ruled his kingdom). Both are spiritual entities, representing spritiual realities, more than anything. Paul referenced that in Hebrews 12, where he shows the spiritual significance of the law - the be the counter-type and counter-position of the gospel state. There is a big but, though


Luther generally put too big of a gap between the gospel and the law (Zion and Sinai), forgetting that one was supposed to lead to the other. What he said was simply "okay the law is death, doesnt give lfe, doesnt perfect, the gospel does all that, therefore the law is bad and to be handled with extreme caution". I would to a point agree with the catholics that he suffered from hypersensitive conscience in regard to personal holiness and the law actually caused him physical pain. While Luther was a monk, the law produced terrors in him (him not being a hypocrite), and with the demands of monasticism's other law, he had to see to getting out of it before it was too late.



But a correct understanding of the law includes its new role in the life of the believer, a safeguard against sin and despair and an enjoyment of the holiness, perfection and moral superiority of God. (As all of psalm 119 attests)



The gnostics had almost no conscience and the law caused the opposite of grace - mellowed Luther - not an attempt to escape it or wash it away with the gospel, but the desire to replace it (see Psalm 119:126+Matthew 15:3;  Daniel 7:25), with a law they easily fulfill every day. That was the mindset of the egyptian desert satanist fathers. In being self-righteous they had to come up with a lifestyle that would both have external holiness and allow them to puff up in their minds. The atrocity of prideful humility that was covered with a self constructed and regulated meritocracy, only paying lip service to God. They believed that virtually ALL of their trials and tribulations were caused by demons who came to disturb their peace of mind and contemplation. This is an extremely gnostic teaching that comes from the concept of the "immovable race" of gnostic ascetic overcomers, who remain untouched by the movements and seductions of the archons. (that is the cause of Luther's constant association of the law with Satan, baggage from monasticism), which even Luther and Brenz and others erroneously kept in some measure  in the protestant churches.
    


  The truth here is that those demons were no demons but the dying pangs of their conscience, which they destroyed with the help of the true demons within them. (1 Tim 4:1-4). Cleaning themselves on the outside, they died a second time, went beyond death, to hell, on the inside (Luke 11:39; Titus 1:15). Wylie describes something similar (total obedience to the superiors and monasticism in jesuitism, derived from egyptian cenobitism) as "the second fall" in his chapter on jesuitism in the protestant history book. I would agree as this process destroyed the last leftovers of light and divine reason in the human being. A second fruit - not of knowing good and evil, but this time destroying the knowledge of good and evil. This is to know "the depths of Satan", becoming a hellish, remorseless puppet of the evil one.



Now, the gnostics (as the manichaeans) had two castes or two groups within their sects - the ascetics and the libertines/hedonists. Both were antinomian (lawless), but in different respects. The first were the priesthood who punished their flesh, as attacked by "demons" (archons in their case) and persevered in prayer and set their own law. The second were the laity, who were permitted a lot or everything. This distinction is now preserved in the two types of antichrists - the monk superiors (jesuits) and the libertine secret societies, like freemasonry. The second are constantly exposed, along with fringe, layman, lesbian/hippy gnosticism, and put under the light as the "enemy" of the church, playing on their radically different lifestyle and social background. There is no problem to admit the antiquity of freemasonry, illuminism etc in the occultism and libertine gnosticism of the past, but the monks have to conceal their gnostic past, or their common origin will be revealed.

In the bible God's law, glory etc was constantly replaced by the godless (see what the pharisees did with the temple, the law etc) and I believe that replacing would fit the definition of antinomian/lawless, if it is already accepted that the idolator who has SUBSTITUTED God with an idol  is to be called "godless", even if he has a "god". So these have their law and are "lawless", for breaking the spiritual commandments of God.


The replacement may consist in downgrading/ pulling down of divine things to human/external level. 

Psalm 74:7

They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.

Thats why there is no problem with the pope being the "lawless one", even if he claims to perform the law of God, he never exhibits the spiritual (Romans 7) function and side of the law, but conceals it under his carnal and expanded law.  And he is also antichrist for the below reason given:




Being lawless means also denying the leading role of law, the role of the schoolmaster (Gal 3) . Therefore to be lawless means to be antichrist, since Christ was incarnated with the purpose of fulfilling the law (Romans 8:3-4). Thats why John in his epistles talks about both as being linked.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

If the law is not what the bible says, but a humanly surmountable law, there is no need for Christ to be incarnate. The gnostic disregarded the law completely, but were for the most part ascetics, fearing "pollution" from the archons and so in a sense had their own law in the systems of their asceticism.




THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST IS WITHIN MONASTICISM AND WILL WORSHIP. THIS IS THE SPIRIT WHO WANTS TO "ASCEND" WITHOUT THE FLESH OF CHRIST:

The Vatican is rushing towards its goal of being abused and victimized by the new Ottoman caliphate. But before this last crusade can begin, islam must radicalized. Is that done through radical preaching? Yes, but much more so by threatening the fundamentals of islam by soft, secular, ecumenical leaders, whose proclamations are borderline blasphemies. And the jesuits perfectly know that muslims are very sensitive to sectarianism and are paranoic about what they perceive as further corruptions of their religion. They are also aware of the xenophobia towards catholic nationals and europeans.  Using this, they have given Erdogan a perfect justification for the initiation of his "counter-reform" back in 2008-2009.

Tin-opener theology from Turkey

By Spengler For months we have read news reports of an Islamic reform stemming from the University of Ankara's theology department. A widely-cited February 28 report by Robert Pigott, the BBC's religion correspondent, claimed that Ankara would "fashion a new Islam" along "revolutionary" lines. In less flamboyant tone, the story resurfaced in the June 8 issue of Newsweek under the headline, "The New Face of Islam". This is the triumph of hope over fact-checking. "Tin-opener theology" is how the leading Western expert on the subject dismisses the efforts at Ankara University to date. Father Felix Koerner, a German Jesuit, has taught at the university and published the definitive source-book on the supposed reform. He explains that the Ankara theologians want to open up the Koran like a tin can, and take what they want out of it, without touching the real problems of Islamic theology. On this more below. Oddly, it is not just the Western media who have gotten it wrong. A conspiracy theory is circulating among Muslim traditionalists that the Jesuits are plotting with Turkey's secularists to undermine Islam. In February, a Muslim website in Britain, Ummahpulse.com, denounced the Society of Jesus as "the pope's special forces attempting to infiltrate Muslim lines". (See The Pope's Special Forces by Muhammad Tahir, February 29, 2008.) The notion of a "Jesuit plot" against Islam is a paranoid hallucination, for there is no consensus among the Jesuits regarding Islam, much less a plot. A handful of patient Jesuit scholars are immersed in Muslim theology, seeking a dialogue with prospective Islamic reformers. That was the subject of Benedict XVI's meeting on Islam at Castel Gandolfo in Italy in the summer of 2005 (See When even the Pope has to whisper Asia Times Online, January 10, 2006.) Reports from the meeting quoted the pope saying that Islam was incapable of reform, to which other participants took objection. Christian Troll, a German Jesuit, sent the following correction to the website of Daniel Pipes on January 17, 2006: The Holy Father is well-informed enough to know that there have existed and that there exist today, probably increasingly, other interpretations of the Koranic evidence with regard to a theology of revelation. These considered Muslim views and approaches do not (yet?), it would seem, inform the thinking and approach of a sizable Islamic movement or organization - and we do not know what future problems lie ahead in this regard - but it does exist and is vividly discussed in many places, both in academia and beyond. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Reformation" "Problems" "touching" Just the words needed to pull a string in the bigoted and paranoic muslims. Could these "views" and "approaches" involve acknowledging Mary as mother of the muslims as the first step of a future unification? It is true that the Jesuits have someone to talk to in Turkey, but it is not clear that they have much of substance to talk about. Muslim traditionalists warn of a plot cooked up by the Jesuits in cahoots with Turkey's secular government. Ummahpulse.com fulminated: It appears that Koerner has spent the last few years befriending and "advising" the Ankara school of would-be revisionists whilst at the same time ministering in a state-sanctioned church of Turkey (no high-up government connections there then ...) ... Specifically, Koerner concerns himself with how to infect his Turkish "disciples" with the types of discourse which have led to the current and ongoing disintegration of the Christian Church. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ha-ha-ha. The jesuits want the disintegration of the christian church? Ah, but yes, their "liberation theology" and compromising theological paradigm would give that impression. But if the "turkish fundamentalists" had actually studied history, they would find other and better reasons to oppose the jesuits. Were they talking about the Reformation?  "Muslim Reformers"? Rome has successfully implanted the rhetoric of "the reformation destroyed the christian world" in the minds of these deluded heathen. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Islamist website added: And for those of you who might think that we here at UmmahPulse are just paranoid, please note that when the pope visited Ankara in November 2006, we were watching and listening as his colleagues declared that the "80-year-old German theologian known for his sharp intellect - has a much broader agenda than merely improving ties between Catholics and Orthodox Christians. Part of that agenda is an attempt to help spark Islamic theological reform". It is all dead, flat wrong, a tempest in an ibrik (Turkish coffee pot). None of the reporters seems to have read the basic source documents. The Ankara professors never were going to launch an Islamic reformation; Koerner and Troll were not going to put them up to it; and the Turkish government wouldn't let it happen, even if everyone else wanted it. Muslim traditionalists denounce the Ankara professors as instruments of the Turkish secularists, while the June 8 Newsweek report claims that they enjoy the patronage of Turkey's Islamist government. Both claims are false, in fact; the Ankara theologians have no real political patron. Turkey's Islamist government, led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, finds itself in mortal confrontation with the country's secularist army and civil institutions. Prosecutors have demanded that the Constitutional Court ban Erdogan's Justice and Development Party (AKP) party, an Islamist party whose support depends on the popular Muslim piety of the countryside. The Koranic hermeneutics of the Ankara theologians will be ignored in the confrontation. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ignored in the confrontation, but enlarging the camp of Erdogan. That is what you call clean work. By simulating conspiratorial activity, the jesuits have practically delivered Turkey to the AKP. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Turkey's moves toward greater religious freedom, which some saw as the sign of an evolving moderate Muslim society, have been put on hold by a political crisis that could outlaw the post-Islamist ruling AKP," according to Reuters' religion editor Tom Heneghan in a May 23 dispatch. "Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, whose bid to lift a ban on Islamic headscarves at universities triggered the crisis, would probably not champion further religious reform even if he won the court case against his party, Turkish analysts say." As noted, Father Koerner shows that what the Ankara theology department has in mind is not a reformation in any sense of the word. It is not even theology in the sense most people understand the word. Following the late Pakistani theologian Fazlur Rahman (1919-1988), the Ankara group argues that some of the revelation in the Koran was directed to specific people at a specific point in time, and is subject to revision. This includes such matters as polygamy, the wearing of veils, and other matters in which the Koran appears egregiously out of touch with the times. .............

And more recently "moderate" AL SISI, whose Egypt is in the middle of a raging civil war with islamists, tells the leading islamic scholars to "REVOLUTIONIZE ISLAM" or REFORM it. Can there be a more illogical and irresponsible move in the middle of a war with fundamentalist underdogs who appeal to the poor and conservative and the sizeable MB supporters? Beside committing political suicide, SISI could also be doing this as a hundred flowers campaign to mark and later on root out potential enemies to the caliphate within the walls of the Al-Azhar

university.  On the 7th of January, SISI further put a noose on secularism, by attending the Coptic Christmass eve mass, throwing out friendly nationalistic calls.  A little over two weeks after his speech, Charli Hebdo caricatured the Prophet once again.

The visit, that included a formal meeting of delegations, followed by lunch, marks 26 years since the most recent visit of the last Pope of Alexandria, His Holiness, the late Pope Shenouda III.
During the meeting at the Patriarchate, His Holiness Pope Tawadros spoke of the great heritage of spirituality and monastic tradition within the Russian Orthodox Church and commented on its contemporary role and influence, suggesting that:


“Collaboration between our Churches will be of great value to our people, both in Egypt and Russia, and a symbol of proactive unity to the whole world.”


Outside the Patriarchate in Moscow, Bishop Angaelos said:
“This has been a very positive meeting with a spirit that desires collaboration and a deepening of relationships. We have seen the heads of these two ancient and significant Churches side by side and speaking with almost identical words of hope, unity and collaboration. This is only the beginning of what I am sure will prove to be an even deeper, stronger, and more effective relationship between our Churches. We pray that this spirit be conveyed to our faithful and that it may be replicated in all of our ecumenical and inter-Church relationships.”
